Specifications and fitment
This torsion spring is part of the quick-release latches holding the auger motor end on DJI Agras T100, T70P and T25P spreaders. It is drawn with the quick-release clamp, rod and two levers on the T100 and T70P auger sheets and T25P spreader sheet 1.

A torsion spring works by twisting: its coil winds up as the part it bears on moves, then pushes that part back once it is released. Breaks usually happen at a leg where it leaves the coil, while rust and fatigue leave a spring weak. If the part it acts on no longer returns by itself, check the spring first. Both latches are opened whenever the auger is changed, which makes that a good time to check it.
Photograph the old spring before removal, noting which way the coil winds and where each leg rests; fitted the wrong way round, it will not work as intended. On the T25P sheet, do not confuse it with the lock button spring (YC.JG.TT000163, callout 46).
