Spreading work puts plenty of vibration and dust through the aircraft. Once a clip has cracked or stopped gripping, the cable can move about and wear against whatever it touches. With the same code on all three diagrams, one spare suits an operator running a mixed fleet.
When fitting the new clip, make sure it holds the cable firmly without pinching it, and that the cable is not pulled tight at either end.
