A bearing that feels gritty, notchy or loose, or one that shows rust or cracks, should be replaced. Water and spray residue are hard on bearings, so check this one whenever the propeller parts come off for cleaning. Fit it square and keep grit out during assembly.
It is listed with the propeller shaft (callout 5) and the propeller clamp (callout 7). If the bearing has failed, look at both for wear as well.
