Three covers appear on the DJI Agras T100 motor diagram, and this is the motor lower cover at callout 4, listed alongside the upper cover and the cable protective cover.

Like the other two covers on that sheet, its role is protective, keeping knocks, dirt and spray residue away from the motor area. Replace it if it is cracked, has lost a fixing point or no longer sits flush.
A blow hard enough to break this cover can also reach the 15516 motor, so turn the rotor by hand and check the housing before closing things up. Swap any fixing whose head is chewed rather than forcing it back in.
