DJI's parts photo shows a compact motor with a short output shaft and a sealed plug on its lead, pictured beside the paddle-shaped sensing part. Fine fertiliser dust, moisture from washing down and a damaged plug or lead are the main risks to it. If detection faults keep coming back after the sensing part has been cleaned and the connector checked, the motor itself is the next suspect, and our Horsham and Manjimup workshops can diagnose it.
Remove the aircraft battery before unplugging it, and look for corrosion or bent pins in the connector. Fit a new dustproof cover if the old one is split, and make sure the sensing part is intact before everything goes back together.
