In depth

Specifications and what it does in the paddock

A ute tray in the sky. The DJI FlyCart 100 lifts what nothing else on your property can: up to 65 kg on two batteries with the Dual-Battery Lifting System, or about 60 kg with the heavier Flagship Winch, under Australia's 149.9 kg take-off cap, delivered by winch or fixed rope to places wheels and boots can't easily go.

Pick a payload system

The airframe ships without landing gear. Its legs and dual battery bays come with the payload system, so every FlyCart flies with either the winch or the lifting system, plus the parachute:

  • Flagship Winch System: a motorised 30 m cable that raises and lowers loads at up to 1.2 m/s, an electric hook, and DJI AirSense ADS-B warnings of crewed aircraft. Deliver without landing.
  • Dual-Battery Lifting System: a fixed 10 m rope and hook for slung loads, 5 kg lighter and far cheaper than the winch, but it can't reel loads up or down and doesn't carry ADS-B
  • Parachute: the FC100 Parachute Kit (E2MSF-100A) brings the aircraft down at under 7 m/s in an emergency

Both payload systems weigh the load in real time, auto-balance it and can release the cable in an emergency. Sold on its own, the aircraft also needs two DB2160 batteries and a charger before it can fly. The Delivery Set adds the winch and parachute, and the 4- and 6-Battery Kits add the batteries, the C12000 charger and a heat sink as well.

Built for real conditions

  • IP55-rated, operating from −20°C to 40°C in wind up to 12 m/s
  • Full sensing suite: phased-array radar, LiDAR and quad-vision sensing to 60 m, plus DJI AirSense ADS-B warnings of crewed aircraft with the Flagship Winch fitted
  • O4 transmission: up to 10 km control range (CE), with a live FPV view and dual-operator handover for delivery runs
  • 9-minute charging: the DB2160 battery (shared with the Agras T100) goes 30–95% in 9 minutes on the C12000 charger

What operators use it for

  • Agriculture support: feed drops, fencing gear, chemical and water resupply across creeks, mud, and steep country
  • Construction: tools and materials to rooftops and remote sites without a crane
  • Utilities: line stringing and tower resupply
  • Emergency response: equipment delivery where vehicles can't reach

Flying it in Australia

DJI limits the FlyCart 100 to a 149.9 kg take-off weight in Australia, which keeps it in CASA's medium RPA category and is why the payload figures here sit below DJI's global ones.
