DJI Agras T100 spray lances use this compression spring in their shaft and slider group, on the standard spray lance and the mist kit spray boom alike.

Moisture and chemical on the lance can corrode and pit the spring, and one that has worked for many seasons can take a set and lose length. Hold the old spring beside the new one: if it is shorter, bent, corroded or has a cracked coil, replace it.
When reassembling, seat the spring squarely and make sure the spring fixing piece and circlip are fully home. Check the spray lance slider for wear, and renew the circlip if it was distorted coming off.
