A hard landing, setting down a loaded aircraft on uneven ground or a knock in transport can bend or dent the tube. Replace one that is kinked, cracked or visibly out of line rather than straightening it, as bent aluminium is weakened and a crooked tube throws the rest of the landing gear out of true.
The spreading and lift system gear use different tubes, so confirm YC.JG.BJ004111 on the old one. While the gear is apart, look over the hose clamp, anti-collision soft rubber and bottom rubber pad from the same sheet and renew any that are worn.
