Small spacers like this are easy to crack or drop when the LiDAR bracket is removed, and leaving one out changes how the parts sit once they are screwed back together. Replace it if it is split, crushed or missing, rather than packing the gap with washers.
Check it whenever the laser radar bracket comes off, and keep it with the bracket's screws so it does not go missing during the job.
