Radar readings depend on the sensor being held at its designed angle, so a bracket that is bent, cracked or loose on its screws matters more than its size suggests. Check it after any frontal impact, including ones where the radar itself looks undamaged.
Fit the new bracket with undamaged screws, make sure the radar sits square and firm, then look for radar warnings in the app before the aircraft goes back to work.
