A bearing that has worn loose, binds, squeaks, or shows scoring or cracks is due for replacement, and spreading dust speeds that wear along. Check the surfaces it runs against for scoring while it is out, and clean the seat before fitting the new bearing square to it.
It is shown with the auger motor base (callout 25) and the large auger (callout 24). To confirm it matches the bearing in your spreader, contact us with a picture of the part you removed.
