A roller with flat spots, chips, cracks or a bore worn oval will drag or jam rather than roll. Grit packed around it can do the same, so clean the area before deciding it is worn out.
When fitting a new roller, look over the roller shaft (callout 7) too, as a scored shaft shortens the life of the replacement. The left battery slider module (callout 5) is close by on the same sheet. If you are not sure you have the right roller, contact us with a photo.
