DJI gives the size as an outside diameter of 7.6 mm, which describes the clip itself rather than the groove it sits in. A circlip that has been levered off is often slightly opened out and may not hold securely, so use a new one on reassembly.
Press it squarely into the groove until it snaps home, then check nothing can slide. It is listed beside the knob and knob rubber stopper. Keeping a spare in the ute is sensible, as these are easy to drop in grass.
