Seals at cable entries keep wash water and chemical mist away from the electronics in the nose. Check this one for splits, a cable that slides freely through it, or rubber that has shrunk back from its housing. Seat it fully before closing any covers, and ease it over connector edges rather than stretching it.
The same sheet also lists a power distribution board cable sealing ring and a cable rubber stopper as separate parts, so match the callout number (10 or 15 for this seal) before ordering.
