Balance shaft module for the Zongshen engine on the DJI D14000iE generator, the counterweighted shaft driven from the crankshaft to offset single-cylinder vibration.

It counters the shake from the piston's up-and-down motion, so less vibration reaches the frame, controller and fuel system. Replace it if the gear teeth are chipped or worn or the journals are scored, and fit new balance shaft bearings at the same time. Note the alignment marks between the balance shaft and crankshaft gears before removal so it goes back in time, as a mistimed balance shaft makes vibration worse. It lives inside the crankcase body, so drain the oil first. D14000iE units built with a Rato engine take different engine parts, so check the engine label before ordering.
