A rumbling or gritty noise from the lower engine, more shake through the frame than usual, or roughness when the balance shaft is turned by hand all point to worn bearings. With the crankcase cover off, it makes sense to replace both bearings together and fit a new oil seal at the same time. Press bearings in by the outer race only. D14000iE units built with a Rato engine take different engine parts, so check the engine label before ordering.
