Warranty claim
Drone Crash Analysis
For an Agras bought from AGX that came down when you believe a fault caused it. DJI analyses the flight logs to work out why it crashed, and that analysis decides whether the warranty covers the damage. Fill in the form and we request the analysis for you.
Before you start
- Upload the flight logs. On the remote controller, open the DJI Agras app and use Log Upload on the home screen (Troubleshooting on a T40 or T20P, System Status on a T30) to upload the logs from the flight that crashed. The app then shows a QR code for the upload: take a photo or screenshot of it for the form. Can't find it on yours? Call us and we will walk you through it.
- Hold off on repairs and resets until then. The flight data DJI needs is stored in the aircraft and on the remote controller, so do not repair the aircraft, reset the remote controller or clear the DJI Agras app before the logs are uploaded.
- Stop using the battery that was in it, as DJI's manuals say after a crash, and do not post or freight it until we have told you how. Flight batteries are dangerous goods, and one that has been in a crash needs particular care.
What the analysis decides
DJI only analyses a crash while the equipment is still under warranty, and only with the flight logs: without them the warranty does not cover the crash. If DJI finds a fault in the aircraft or battery caused it, the claim goes ahead under warranty. If the logs show something else, such as hitting an obstacle, strong wind or rain, or flying outside the instructions, the damage is not covered, and we can quote the repair instead.
