Replace it when it is cracked, worn down, bent or missing, which usually follows dragging the generator over rough ground or dropping it off a ute tray. A damaged foot lets the frame rock and chafe, which shakes fittings loose over time. Check the damping mount and engine front fixing plate at the same time if the generator has been vibrating more than usual. DJI marks it for the Zongshen (ZS) engine build; D14000iE units built with a Rato engine take different parts here, so check the engine label before ordering.
