It works with the engine rear fixing plate to hold the power unit on its damping mounts. Replace it if it is bent, cracked around the bolt holes or rusted through, or the engine sits out of line in the frame. Inspect the pads and the support base at the same time, because worn or split rubber passes vibration into the plate and frame and can crack them.
DJI marks this as a Zongshen (ZS) part; D14000iE units built with a Rato engine take different engine parts, so check the engine label before ordering.
