Piston ring set for the DJI D14000iE generator's Zongshen engine. The rings seal the piston against the cylinder wall to hold compression and control the oil film.

Worn rings show up as blue exhaust smoke, rising oil use, low compression, oily spark plugs and heavy crankcase breathing. Check the cylinder bore for scoring and the ring end gaps in the bore before deciding rings alone will fix it. Fit each ring in its own groove with any marking facing up, and stagger the gaps around the piston.
A ring job is a good time to inspect the piston, piston pin and piston pin circlips. This suits the Zongshen engine only: D14000iE units built with a Rato engine take different engine parts, so check the engine label first.
