Engine oil sensor for the DJI D14000iE generator's Zongshen engine. It tells the generator when the engine oil level runs low so the engine can be protected.

If the generator gives a low-oil warning or will not start with the oil at the right level, check the sensor's wiring and plug first, then the sensor itself. A sensor that never trips is just as bad, as the engine can then run low and seize. Disconnect the starter battery before unplugging it, and drain the oil first if the sensor sits below the oil level.
Running short of oil is hard on the connecting rod, crankshaft bearing and piston. D14000iE units built with a Rato engine take different engine parts, so check the engine label before ordering.
