Before condemning it, rule out cheaper causes: check the Control Panel Harness plugs, the earth connections, and the cooling path past the Controller Air Baffle, as a blocked air path makes it run hot. Stop the generator, let it cool and disconnect the starter battery before removal. The unit mounts on the Controller Mounting Upper Bracket and a lower bracket. If you are unsure the controller is at fault, contact us with the generator's serial number and a description of the fault before ordering.
