Locating dowel pin that aligns the cylinder head on the cylinder of the upgraded DJI D14000iE generator's Zongshen engine, so the head and gasket seat exactly in place.

The pins stop the head shifting and hold the cylinder head gasket in register while the head is tightened down. Replace a pin that is bent, burred, corroded in place or damaged on removal; a missing pin can let the head creep and the gasket leak.
It pays to have spares on hand for a top-end rebuild, when the head comes off and the push rods and tappets are checked. Check the engine label first, as D14000iE units built with a Rato engine take different engine parts.
