Replace it if it is dented into the air path, cracked at the fixing points or the grille is damaged, as the controller depends on a clear duct to shed heat. Clear dust and chaff from the grille at each service. It works with the Controller Air Baffle and sits behind the Controller Trim Panel. Let the generator cool and disconnect the starter battery before working around the controller. This is a Zongshen (ZS) build part. Units fitted with a Rato engine use different engine parts, so check the engine label first.
