Camshaft assembly for the DJI D14000iE generator's Zongshen engine. Its lobes lift the tappets and push rods to open the intake and exhaust valves in time with the crank.

Worn or flattened lobes cut valve lift, which shows up as lost power, poor starting and noisy valve gear. Check the lobes, journals and gear teeth for wear or chips whenever the crankcase is open, and inspect the tappets that ride on it. Line up the timing marks on the cam and crank gears exactly on assembly.
Replace the camshaft flat washer if it is scored, and check the crankshaft and crankshaft bearing while you are in there. This suits the Zongshen engine only: D14000iE units built with a Rato engine take different engine parts, so check the engine label first.
