Start cup for the DJI D14000iE generator's Zongshen engine, the small starter pulley on the engine that the starting mechanism grips to turn it over, at ref 27 of the engine parts list.

Replace it when the drive lugs or teeth are chipped, worn or rounded, the cup is cracked or distorted, or the starting mechanism slips rather than turning the engine over. Look over the fixing bolts and the face it seats against while it is off, and clear out any grass seed, chaff or dust packed around it. Let the engine cool and disconnect the starter battery before working on it.
Units built with a Rato engine take different engine parts, so check the engine label before ordering. If you are unsure which engine your generator has, contact us with its serial number and a photo.
