Spark arrestor for the DJI D14000iE generator exhaust. Its fine mesh screen at the muffler outlet catches hot carbon before it can reach dry grass, stubble or crop.

Inspect it regularly, and more often through the fire season. With the engine cold, remove it and brush off any carbon. A clogged screen chokes the exhaust and costs power, while a torn or burnt-through mesh no longer stops sparks and should be replaced. If it keeps sooting up quickly, have the engine checked, starting with the EFI oxygen sensor. It fits at the outlet of the exhaust muffler.
This is a Zongshen (ZS) part; units built with a Rato engine take different engine parts, so check the engine label.
