A worn shaft lets the rocker wobble, which shows up as top-end noise and valve clearances that drift between services. Look for a stepped or polished groove where the rocker rides, and replace the valve rocker as well if its bore has worn oval. Reassemble with a new cylinder head cover gasket and let the engine cool before you start. DJI first catalogued this shaft for the D12500iE. D14000iE units built with a Rato engine take different engine parts, so check the engine label before ordering.
