The hook holds the oil drain hose up out of the way between oil changes, and this washer spreads the load of its mounting bolt. Replace it if it is bent, corroded or dropped while the hook is off, so the hose does not work loose and snag. It is a different part from the washer at the drain hose joint on the crankcase. Let the engine cool before working near the drain. This is DJI's upgraded-version washer. D14000iE units built with a Rato engine take different engine parts, so check the engine label before ordering.
