Check it often in dusty paddocks, especially during harvest or spreading work. Replace it if the foam is torn, hardened or crumbling, is caked with dirt that will not come out, or no longer seals at the end caps. Never run the engine without it. When changing it, wipe out the air filter front shell and check the rubber hose for splits.
DJI marks this as a Zongshen (ZS) part; D14000iE units built with a Rato engine take different engine parts, so check the engine label before ordering.
