A new engine is usually only needed after internal damage such as a seized piston or failed crankshaft. The muffler, air filter and alternator parts may need to move across from the old engine, so contact us before ordering with the generator's serial number and a photo of the engine label. We will confirm what is included.
Fit a new exhaust pipe gasket and check the motor mounting bracket and EFI oxygen sensor too. Drain the fuel and disconnect the starter battery first. Units built with a Rato engine take a different engine.
