ANZ edition of the electric start assembly for the DJI D14000iE generator's Zongshen engine, the starter motor that cranks the engine, supplied without the relay. Ref 71, engine parts list.

Suspect it when the starter grinds, spins without engaging or cranks slowly on a charged battery. Rule out the battery, earth and starter motor relay first; the relay is sold separately. Clean the mounting face before fitting and disconnect the starter battery first.
This is the ANZ edition; ref 71 also lists a base electric start assembly. Check the code on your old starter, or contact us with the generator's serial number and a photo. Units built with a Rato engine take different engine parts, so check the engine label.
