DJI O4 Ground Station

The DJI O4 Ground Station is a fixed signal booster for the DJI Dock 3 and the Matrice 4 series. Mounted high on a shed roof, a tower or a hill, it carries the aircraft's link past the rises, trees and buildings that block a dock's view, so the drone can keep working further out.

• Gateway Mode (Dock 3): the station has its own internet connection, over Ethernet or, where DJI's 4G service is offered, a DJI Cellular Dongle 2, and links the Matrice 4D or 4TD straight to DJI FlightHub 2, so it can go wherever coverage is weakest rather than beside the dock. Over Ethernet DJI asks for at least 100 Mbps and under 100 ms latency
• Relay Mode: sits up high within sight of the dock or controller and passes the link on. It works with the Dock 3, the Matrice 400, the Matrice 4E and 4T, and the Matrice 4D and 4TD flown from an RC Plus 2 Enterprise. DJI recommends keeping it within 300 m to 1 km of the dock, depending on the radio standard
• Twelve antennas, four external and eight internal, horizontally and vertically polarised, to hold the link wherever the aircraft is around it
• Powered over Ethernet from the Dock 3's PoE port or an IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++) supply, on up to 100 m of outdoor Cat 6 cable. An 802.3at (PoE+) supply runs Gateway Mode only. If the power drops, a 23.4 Wh backup battery keeps it going for about 45 minutes in Gateway Mode or 30 minutes in Relay Mode
• Built to live outside: IP67 and IK07, rated −40°C to 55°C on a Type 4 PoE supply, with surge protection on both Ethernet ports. 2.68 kg and 170 × 170 × 352 mm, fixed with expansion bolts or M6 screws

It is part of the Dock 3 Farm Monitoring Kit, where it reaches the far paddocks a dock by the shed can't see.

In the box: the ground station, an earth lead, a USB-C cable, two Ethernet cable connectors, four expansion bolts, an installation template, screws and tools. The Ethernet cable, a PoE supply if the dock's port is not used, and the Cellular Dongle 2 are separate. DJI Care is not included.
