Check it when the panel shows intermittent faults, or a connector is cracked, a lead chafed through or a terminal corroded. The panel has to come off to reach it, so inspect the plugs at both ends of the loom while it is open. Disconnect the starter battery before unplugging anything.
This is the ANZ edition; ref 99 also lists a base control panel harness. Check the code on your old harness, or contact us with the generator's serial number and a photo. Rato-engined units take different parts, so check the engine label.
