If the air filter housing rattles, sits crooked or has broken away from its mount, check this lug for cracks, worn or elongated holes and bent tabs. A loose filter housing strains the inlet hose and can open a gap that lets dust past the filter, which wears an engine quickly in dry paddock work. While you are there, look over the damping mount for perished rubber. DJI marks it for the Zongshen (ZS) engine build; D14000iE units built with a Rato engine take different parts here, so check the engine label before ordering.
